This includes, but is not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. No warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is made or implied beyond the limited warranty described on our Warranty page.

Product specifications (such as lumens, wattage, color temperature, lifespan, dimmability, beam angle, certifications like UL/ETL, Energy Star, DLC, IP ratings, etc.) are based on manufacturer data and testing under standard conditions. Actual performance may vary depending on installation, environment, usage, electrical conditions, heat dissipation, dimmer compatibility, voltage fluctuations, and other factors. We do not guarantee that any product will perform exactly as described in all applications. Our limited warranty covers only defects in materials and workmanship for specified periods: 5 years for low-voltage lighting products like LED modules, flexible LED strips, backlight panels, and neon LED strips; 3 years for puck lights, outdoor lights, power supplies (dimmable and non-dimmable), and high-voltage products; and 1 year for controls and dimmers. This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Lumenstar or an approved distributor, operated within our specifications, with approved equipment, and in normal environmental conditions.

In no event shall Lumenstar, its owners, employees, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business interruption, property damage, personal injury, labor costs, or any other losses—arising out of or in any way connected with:

Lumenstar's sole liability under the limited warranty is limited to the replacement of defective products (due to materials or workmanship) with a new or comparable product, at our discretion. This is the sole and exclusive remedy. The warranty does not apply to failures caused by acts of God, abuse, misuse, abnormal use, violation of standards, codes, or instructions (including IEC Standards), or environmental conditions outside the specified range. We reserve the right to examine failed products to determine the cause of failure. No liability extends to other costs or damages, including labor, lost profits, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

You agree to use this Site and our products at your own risk. Installation and use of LED lighting products must comply with all local, state, national, and international electrical codes (e.g., NEC in the US), safety regulations, and manufacturer instructions. All products must be installed by a certified electrician. Improper installation or use may result in fire, electrical shock, voided warranties, or other hazards. We strongly recommend professional installation.

LED products are not intended for use in critical safety applications (e.g., emergency exit lighting, medical equipment, aviation, or life-support systems) unless explicitly certified and labeled for such use. Do not block airflow/heat sinks, enclose fixtures improperly, or exceed rated voltage/current, as this may cause overheating, reduced lifespan, failure, or unsafe conditions. Products must be operated with approved lighting equipment and within specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, air movement).

All prices, promotions, and product availability are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical errors, pricing mistakes, or inaccuracies in product information. In the event of an error, we reserve the right to correct it and cancel or refuse orders affected.

For warranty claims, retain failed products, your invoice or purchase document (to verify purchase date), and contact us at info@lumenstarled.com for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Claims for shortages or damaged material must be reported within 5 working days of receipt. Nondefective products may be returned within 30 days if new and in original packaging, with prior approval and original bill of sale; custom orders are non-returnable. You are responsible for all shipping and related costs, except in cases of manufacturer's defect where shipping charges may be credited.
